The WedsSport RN-55M is the spiritual successor to the SA-55M, featuring a twin 5-spoke design as well as the deep ball-milled sidecuts that allow for material to be shaved in areas where it will not affect the structural integrity of the wheel. Available in two colors, Gloss Black and Black Blue Machining. The BBM (Black Blue Machining) color is a two-stage process which is patented, allowing for the machined sections to be covered with blue clear coat. All WedsSport wheels are Made in Japan and exceed JWL/VIA standards by 20%.

Officially founded in 1984, the WedsSport division / brand is Weds Co. Ltd's crown jewel in its involvement in motorsports. Using the rigors of motorsport racing, from Gr. A, JTCC class to the top tier GT500 class, WedsSport has harvested precious data by testing WedsSports wheels design on these racecars. The data collected has allowed WedSport engineers to develop innovative technologies and world class, championship-winning wheels for street, track, and professsional applications.

WedsSport racing wheels provided weight reduction, uniformity and strength. WedsSport, victorious in JGTC racing as well as at other motorsports events, uses the knowledge gained on the track to design and tune each wheel produced for maximum strength and a minimum weight. Wheels are Original Equipment quality and meet the world standards set by JWL and VIA, as well. WedsSport wheels are great for both form and function.

Extensive machining in the H-cross and logos

WedsSport first introduced the "H-Cross" spoke side milling concept in 2010. This innovative approach was developed and rigorously tested to address the challenge of increasing spoke strength, particularly on larger diameter wheels where flex tends to be more pronounced due to the longer spoke length. Traditionally, the solution to this issue involved adding more material to the spokes, but this invariably resulted in added weight.

Drawing on principles of structural physics and thorough material composition studies, WedsSport engineers embarked on a quest to find the optimal spoke cross-section shape for enhanced strength. This pursuit culminated in the development of the "H-cross" spoke design. Notably, the distinctive H-section cannot be achieved by die molding alone; it necessitates additional machining to be realized. The incorporation of radii in this design serves to increase surface area, thereby enhancing both strength and rigidity.

This innovative concept paved the way for the creation of lightweight sports wheels that seamlessly integrate exceptional design with significant weight reduction. WedsSport initially implemented this groundbreaking concept in our previous SA-55M & SA-60M model, now extending it to the RN-55M, thereby revolutionizing the landscape of lightweight sport wheel design. Today, WedsSport continues to leverage this proven design across a range of our models, further solidifying our commitment to engineering excellence and performance innovation.
