The Podium-Ti Oil Cap by ACUiTY is meant to shine when others would leave you in a literal bind. Most gearheads have struggled to remove a stuck oil cap at some point. The Podium-Ti gracefully avoids such issues thanks to its cross-drilled holes and machined hex that allow removal using a screwdriver or socket. Of course, it also permits hand removal using its gently scalloped profile. The Podium-Ti is carefully machined from 6AL4V titanium, and the finish is applied by hand, making every piece unique. This version of the Podium-Ti is presented in a stunning brushed finish that fades from gold to purple to blue. Attention to detail abounds in this design with subtle features like a dovetailed o-ring retention groove, helpful technical markings, and critically placed fillets to help keep the oil cap looking great even after repeated loosening using tools. ACUiTY recommends that the Podium-Ti Oil Cap be hand-tightened only. The cross-drilled holes and center hex are intended for use during removal only.
Care Instructions
Oil and dirt that accumulate on the outside of this product will temporarily reduce the vibrance of the colors in its burnt finish. If you find your titanium looking a little lackluster, use a microfiber cloth and some household rubbing alcohol to wipe the outer surfaces down. This will remove oil and dirt deposited on the outer surfaces and will restore the original beauty of the finish.
